Logging policy

We take great pride in providing our users with a privacy oriented service.

Due to this, we employ a very lightweight logging policy across all of our nodes. Specifically, any and all logs get cleared every 24 hours, across every Tunnelr node. We retain this 24-hour policy in order to allow us to help any users who are having issues with our services.

There are 3 main sources of logs on the Tunnelr servers - OpenVPN logs, OpenSSH logs and firewall logs. In general, OpenVPN and OpenSSH logs contain nothing more than authentication success/failures and session establishment data. Our firewall logs consist specifically and only of block rules, that are put in place by us when trying to track down abusive users in order for us to suspend an account.
